Happened once to my friend 5…

One of our friends had gone to Finland with his Thai-girlfriend. They had been together for several years already, but not yet been to Finland, the mans home country. Once in Finland, of course he had to take the girl to look at Finnish nature in Seurasaari, Helsinki. While walking, they came across of a herd of Barnacle Gooses. After watching this strange natural phenomenon for a while the girl asked who owns those gooses. Our friend replied that what you mean, they are not owned by anyone.
Really, nobody owns them? – asked the girl.
No, nobody owns them. – replied our friend.

After understanding this revolutionary “no man’s property” concept, the girl whispered excitedly “let’s come at night, let’s come this night and take them!” thinking to take a big sack and capture as many geese as possible for food, it would be free! Our friend was torn into laughter after hearing this, but didn’t agree with the plan to hunt the geese for food.

I think this is a very down to earth approach to Barnacle gooses who are roaming with no owners around  ;)
